The Dissertation is devoted to the research of scientific heritage of outstanding specialist in folklore and literature, historian and publiccist Mychailo Dragomanov. For the first time analysed the scientista folklore works determined their importance for the folk-lore science. The folklore publications and scientific studies are examined in the research work. The main results of researches found their practical implementation in education process when studying historiographies and folklore theories, history of literature and Ukrainian culture.
