Subject: The tangle of contradictions in the international affairs, linked with the Great Powers' aspiration for being predominant in the Balkan region, and international affairs as such in the 70-80-s in the XIX th century has become the major subject of the thesis. Main aim: The composite analysis of international affairs as to the Balkan Slavonic coutries in the 80-s XIX th century, key aspects of the Balkan policy, adopted by Great European Powerds, their being influentian on the fate of Slavonic coutries in the Balkans. Methodology: Concrete-historical, problematic, chronological, descriptive and comparative methods. Results: Having scrutinizen a great number of historical sourges, there have been disclosed the politions of the Great European Powers' leaders, investigated their programmes and aktivities towards the Slavonic territiries in the Balkans while developing political crises in the 80-s XIX th century, their will to ensure their national interests in the region. Proceeding from the histor ical experience and the events of the present one can conclude that Great Powers' have always hat supremacy over small countries, predermining their destiny.
