Essay

The objects of investigation: 1-1 electrolyte solutions in the solvents with low dielectric constant. The task of the work: elaboration of the method for determination of equilibrium and transport properties of 1-1 electrolyte solutions in the solvents with low dielectric constant by using conductomtric data on the basis of a model taking into account formation of ion pairs and triples; showing up the regularities of an influence of temperature, ion size and nature on parameters of interparticle interactions in the 1-1 electrolyte solutions in the solvents with low dielectric constant. The methods of investigation: conductance, density, dielectric constant and viscosity measurements. An original method of conductometric data processing taking into account formation of ion pairs and triples has been proposed. This method allow us to determine simultaneously the values of limiting ion molar conductivities and association constants of the ion pairs and triples. The difference in the regularities of the t emperature changes of attractive friction coefficients and Gibbs free energies of non-Coulomb interactions in the solvent with low and middle dielectric constant has been established. New quantitative characteristics of the ion triples have been obtained. The compositions of the solutions for verification of conductometrs working within low specific conductivity (less than 10-3 Sm/m) were developed and introduced.
