Research object - inorganic sorbents based on oxides of multivalent metals (ZrO2, TiO2) and carbon. Aim was to establish main rules of surface charging and mechanism of electrochemically controlled sorption. Methods - atomic adsorption, flame-photometric analyzis, impedance spectroscopy method etc. Equipment - spectrophotometer PU 8800, pH - meter ЭВ - 74 ets. The synthesis condition influence on electrosurface and sorption properties was investigated. It is found out, that ions removal by compozite sorbents surface depend on polarity and electric current value. The results of researches can be utilised at development of electrosorption technology of ion impurity removal from water solution with following regeneration of compozite sorbents without chemical reagent usage.
