Essay

The object of study: regenerating rat liver. The aim of study: extraction of low molecular weight thermostable liver cells cytosol protein fraction and investigation of their effect on liver cells proliferation. Methods and equipment: gel-chromatography, electrophoresis in PAAG, radioactive labeling, spectrophotometer. Theoretical and practical results, newness: were extracted thermostable proteins of 10-14 kDa molecular weight, which were capable to modulate DNA synthesis rate depending on dose and time of injection. These proteins influenced specifically on DNA synthesis and had no effect on total nuclear RNA synthesis rate. It was investigated metabolism of this fraction in liver cells of intact animals and after partial hepatectomy, as well as their tissue and intracellular localization at intraperitoneal injections. The sphere of application: fundamental investigations, drug technology.
