3. The object of the investigation are orchard, hooking fruit-gathering machine (HFGM), steering system. A purpose of researches is increasing the productivity and work quality fruit-gathering machine. The systems for position control and moving manage-ment of HFGM with regard to tree trunks in longitudinal and cross directions have been substantiated and elabo-rated on the basis of theoretical and experimental re-searches. Elaborated systems permit to increase the total machine productivity at 1.2 times and essentially decrease trees damage. Research results will have used for elaborating and pro-ducing the tractor-hook agriculture machines and theirs steering systems.
