The dissertation studies functional disorders of caudal group of cranial nerves at different steps of surgical treatment patients with extracranial tumors located in posterior fossa. On the basis of analysis of 680 patients, the specific features of a microtopographic between the caudal nerves and paratruncal tumors have been revealed. With regard for anatomic variations of the relationship between the IX - XII nerves and extracranial tumors, the technique to remove the latter has been designed.
