Essay

The paper is devoted to question of developing the method for calculation and optimization of coupled impedance parameters of externally mouned and external through-type sensors. The model of electromagnetic interaction of the transducer coil field with eddy current field, inducted in conductive tested object, has been developed. The algorithms for calculation of coupled parameters for conductive plates, pipes, rods, multilayer constructions, coated articles depending on the type of transducer coil and on the parameters, the clearans between tested object surface and transducer's coil, and on the cracks of definite size available in the test object. The use of data obtained from these calculations makes it possible to optimize transducer coil parameters in the process of new equipment design.
