Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the actual problem of diagnostics and surgical treatment and based on the analytical results of treatment of 131 patients with a trauma of a sciatic nerve. A high – quality diagnostic of MTI application method extends considerably the investigating potential and permits to differentiate the denerved muscles, the sciatic nerve trunk, that determine the level and degree of lesion. A new proposed method of a surgical treatment of sciatic nerves traumatic lesions and lumbosacral plexus radices in the cavity of a small pelvis, helps us to receive satisfactory results in cases attributed earlier to a category of non – repaired ones.
