Working process in a free-vortex pump (FVP) of "Turo" type: fluid flows and conversion of mechanical energy into hydraulical one. Elaboration of the working process model of the "Turo" type FVP as a hydromachine of vortex action;elaboration upon its basis the design technique of the wetted parts; determination of the limit level of energetic perfection of the "Turo" type FVP. Analytical and calculational research on the basis of mathematic modelling with the following experimental check of the energy characteristics. A new phisical model of the working process of the "Turo" type FVP is elaborated, the criterion equation of working process is obtained The closed system of equations, connecting the geometrical and hydrodynamical parameters, is obtained. The design technique of the working parts of the "Turo" type FVP is obtained. The thesis results are new and are obtained first. Degree of introduction. The pumps designed are developed in production in series .Pump-building industry.
