The aim of present dissertation is to study functional and morphological integration of different types of hippocampal tissue in the host brain after intracortical allotransplantation. After transplantation of hippocampal tissue we revealed that changes of brain electrical activity in recipient demonstrate specific and structurally depending influence of the grafts. We defined specific interaction between graft neuro-mediator systems and brain of recipient depending on the different types of implanted hippocampal tissue and terms of the study. It was shown that hippocampal grafts surviving in the host brain, they morphologically integrating with surrounding tissue and restoring their own plastic properties with subsequent cell differentiation to mature forms. We established presence of neurosensibilization phenomena in recipient animals. Their feature and magnitude depends on the type of implanted graft and terms after transplantation.
