Novak V. The Folkloristic activity of M.T.Rylsky

In this thesis an attempt of integral and systematic research into folkloristic heritage of M.T.Rylsky has been made.The scientific, aesthetic, civil positions of the artist and scientist as to the popularization and study of Ukrainian and Slavic folklore have been determined.The scientific-theoretical and organization problems of folkloristics have been considered.The social-cultural importance of thefolkloristic activity of M.T. Rylsky for the development of spiritual life of Ukrainian and related Slav peoples has been substantiated.Some questions of ideological-thematic contents and images creation of Slavic folk epos have been considered in the thesis too.
