Essay

The dissertation is devoted to study of rings and lattices with locally defined torsion theories. Necessary and sufficient conditions are found, which should satisfy a ring, that all torsion theories and pretorsion theories in category of modules over this ring were defined unique manner by localizations concerning all maximal ideals of the ring.
