Kondakov I. Morphogenetic aspects of an exacerbation and fast progression of atherosclerosis

Object -aortas, carotid arteries and blood of the deceased, patients with atherosclerosis and experimental animals. The aim of study - to investigate peculiarities of patho- and morphogenesis of non-lipidogenic injuries and lipoidosis and to establish their role in exacerbation and progression of atherosclerosis. Methods: luminescent, hystochemical, immunomorphological, electronomicro-scopy and biochemical. Patho- and morphogenesis peculiarities of atherosclerosis exacerbation and progression have been established; the disease course stages diagnosis was elaborated; new approaches to pathogenic therapy of atherosclerosis were proposed. The new conception of monocytic clearance of lipids in atherosclerosis is proposed. Field of application - cardiology, pathology.
