Essay

The thesis is devoted to study of anodic processes occurring at d-transition metal aqueous electrolyte solution interphase. Promising science direction namely electrochemistry of interphase interaction of multicomponent metallic system with aqueous electrotyte solutitous is extended in the thesis. Kinetics of anodic dissolution and passivation of scandium, chromium and molybdenum in electrolyte solutions is established, and the mechanisms of these processes are proposed. Selective dissolution of solid solutions of chromium - iron system at their interaction with acid solutions in active region in starting period is established by unsteady state electrochemical methods. Fundamental possibility of d-transition metal alloys passivation ability rise by their alloying with active metals is theoretically substantiated and their mechanisms are proposed.
