Essay

The dissertation is devoted to theoretical analysis of regularities for relaxation phenomena in nonequilibrium condensed solid systems. For this purpose a statistical approach which permit us to describe both the kinetics of concentration separation and ordering processes in nonequilibrium condensed systems is developed. Within the framework of binary model the evolution of large scale structure in glass (spinodal decomposition) is investigated. It is shown that the spatial variations of a composition in glass at the initial moment leads to an effective widening the nonstability range of the homogeneous state. Besides, a crucially new result which is testified of existing the kinetically slowing down intermediate concentration structures in spinodal decomposition is obtained. The formation and growth kinetics of antiphase domains under a phase transition of an order-disorder type is studied by the example of order-disorder alloys. The conditions in which monodomain and polydomain states to be realize d are established.
