S'yanov O. Characteristics and electromagnetic parameters of induction motors with solid ferromagnetic elements

The subject of investigation consists of induction motors with solid ferromagnetic elements. The object in view is to develop techniques for calculation of static and dynamic characteristics taking into account interaction of construction elements. The methods of analysis are mathematical modeling, life-size experimentation, numerical methods. The theoretical results consist in subsequent development of the techniques for calculation of characteristics and electromagnetic parameters on the basis of finite-element method. The practical results are the following. The techniques, algorithms and program codes for calculation of characteristics are developed. The results are applied in industry (at Orlov Steel-Rolling Plant, at Dnepropetrovsk Hardware Plant, at EKMA Plant) and in the process of studies. The field of application is theoretical electric engineering, electrоmechanics.
