Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of electron-phonon coupling and soliton properties in low-dimensional systems. The conditions of existence of Davydov solitons are found, and parametric diagrams of electron ground states are built. The evolution of initial pulses in infinite and semi-infinite systems is calculated. The interactions between solitons with account of nonadiabaticity are investigated, as well as their dynamic properties under the influence of electromagnetic and constant magnetic fields, Peierls-Nabarro relief, pressure and temperature are calculated. Bisoliton mechanism of metabolic charge transport is developed. The results obtained explain qualitatively and quantitatively experimental properties of low-dimensional systems.
