Research subjects: Ampelographic resources. Research objectives: To provide theoretical substantiation of and to elaborate a complex of measures enabling the stabilization, development and improved efficiency of viticulture of the Crimea based on the principle of its agroecological adaptation. Methods: Conventional methods applied in viticulture. Theoretical and practical results: The results of the investigation have been used to elaborate the Program of the vitivinicultural development of the Crimea prior to 2015. A methodology to develop multidimensional linear regression models has been provided and is used to elaborate projects for the establishment of vineyards. Novelty of introduced: Complex analysis of the current situation of viticulture of the Crimea has been carried out and principal directions of its development have been determined. Multidimensional regression models have been developed which interrelate size, quality and uses of yields harvested with agroecological resources of an area , cultivars and cultural practices. Capital and energy intensity of available practices for the establishment and exploitation of vineyards of the Crimea has been evaluated. Suggestions pertaining to the rational location and use of ampeloecological and technological resources of an area have been made. Implementation degree: The agricultural measures suggested have been used to elaborate the Program of the vitivinicultural development of the Crimea prior to 2015. Effectiveness: Annual profit makes 136 million hrn. Profitability can be as high as 80%. Sphere, sector of implementation: Viticulture.
