Essay

Object of study: heterogeneous chemical reactions in which crystalline reagents participate. Aim of study: to develop a physico-chemical theory of the simplest chemical reactions those occur in a crystalline matrix according to nucleation and growth mechanism. Methods of study: contemporary methods of stochastic geometry and planigon theory. Results, novelty: initially discrete two- dimensional approach to simulating kinetics of reactions under study, which makes it possible to include the crystal structure of a solid reagent into kinetic models. Sphere of implementation: physical chemistry, chemical kinetics, inorganic chemistry, material sciences.
