Methodology and applications of stochastic environmental hydrology were substantiated and realized as a new scientific field in the scope of hydro-radioenvironmental inverstgations in post-chornobyl period. Stochastic modeling of dynamics and stabilty of watir reservoirs and river basins during natural and man-caused exposure is the object pf stochastic environmental hydrology, that's why it is divided into two interrelated segments: SEH of reservoirs and SEH of river basins. Both segments consider water bodies and their cachments to be a compound water-management-environmental systems, which can be simulated by investigated regularities of their own parametric perturbances.
