Essay

Object of study: equilibria on the surfaces of complexing chemically modified silicas (CCMS). Aim of study: to improve and develop the quantitative physicochemical analysis (QPCA) and extend it on studying CCMS. Methods of study: thermodynamics, methods of the data analysis theory. Results, novelty: the method of QPCA was improved and developed, the reliability of its conclusions was raised, the hierarchical system of meaningful models for studying equilibria on the CCMS surfaces was elaborated, the new rules which determine the composition and stability of grafted complexes were found. Field of implementation: physico-inorganic and analytical chemistry, material science.
