Essay

The author has developed the biological conception of stable functional osteosynthesis, classified types of osteosynthesis depending on severity of surgical traumas, designed and introduced into practice new implants and the low-invasive and minimal invasive osteosynthesis unit; specified indications and developed the traumatologic procedure for fixation of fractures in accordance with the low-invasive osteosynthesis conception, developed tactics of primary and early osteosynthesis of long bones in concomitant injuries, proposed the medical rehabilitation system in view of peculiarities of the procedure for low-invasive osteosynthesis of long fractured bones, and elaborated principles of rehabilitation after traditional and low-invasive stable functional osteosynthesis.
