The thesis deals with to the all round complex analy ses of the plant diversity of the Left-Bank Dnieper Area. Prodromus of vegetation made on the floristic basis. 18 new syntaxa are described. An annotated checklist includes 1613 species.The structural comparative analysis of 20 coenofloras is held.The eco logical features of syntaxa and coenofloras are analy zed by the method of fitoindication. The floristic subdi vision of the region is proposed first, a more precise ge obotanical subdivision is made. Main directions of plant cover antropogeneous transformati on are explai ned. Perspective ways of plant diversity preservation in protected and ecological networks are worked out.
