Essay

The dissertation is devoted to theoretical research of optical properties of anisotropic and low-dimensional crystals in exci-ton spectra region. The coupling functions of excitons with lon-gitudinal and transverse optical and acoustic phonons are found. Using them, by method of retarded Green functions, the calculation of influence an anisotropy of the basic physical pa-rameters on frequency and temperature dependence of the band-shape of light absorption in uniaxial crystals is carried out. Features of exciton attenuation on phonons detailed are investigated and the relative role of a spatial dispersion, at-tenuation and thickness of a transitive layer in reflection and displacement of resonant light reflection extrema in crystals is found out. The properties of spectra of molecular structures of low spatial dimensions are investigated at quantum transitions of excitons between lowest zones and by transition to the states of the charged exciton.
