In the monodraph the author elucidates socio-psychological peculiarities, mechanisms,factors, functions of educational management as means of effective administration. The socio-psychological conception of the interpersonal professional collaboration at educational management, detailed characteristics of its phenomena: socio-psychological climate, conflicts, management style are presented. The methodological principe of the personal - activity approach as of the concretization of systemic social and psychological analysis dealing with the specific character of manaement in education has been worked out. The structure and psychological functions of management in education has been characterized for its levels. Psychological components of general administrative functions of management are defined. The psychological chart of an educational manager has been worked out and tested. Using personal activity approach, the author has elaborated socio-psychological fundamentals of graduate and postgraduate traini ng of educational managers as well as methods of studying its efficiency in the system of postgraduate education in the today conditions.
