Object of study: measurements with ISE in aqueous, mixed and organized solutions; аim: the increase of the accuracy of the ISE measurements and to extension the ionometry onto the new area; мethods: potentiometrical, statistical methods, mathematical simulation of chemical composition; Results, novelty: The response of the ISE as affected by the variation of the activity coefficients and liquid-junction potentials, as well as the selectivity interferences (ion-exchange competition effects), and effects of solvents and aggregation processes in microgeterogeneous media have been studied. The models characterizing quantitatively the interfering effects on response of ISE have been developed and the corresponding parameters have been determined. The effective methodical and metrological tools to eliminate the interferences occurring during the ISE measurements in the multicomponent systems, mixed media and organized solutions have been developed. The evaluation of the ion activities as well as the simultan eous determination of two components was made much more reliable. The procedure of investigation of complicated equilibria in solutions and microgeterogeneous systems has also been significantly improved. The novel ion buffer systems for calibrating the IСЕ in aqueous and water-ethanol solutions as well as in micellar media of sodium dodecyl sulphate have been worked out. Field of implementation: analytical chemistry, manufacture of laboratory instruments.
