Essay

The spectra of electrons, holes, phonons, exci- tons dependence on geometric sizes of closed and opened semiconductor heterosystems is investigated. The renormalization of electron and hole ground energy states due to the interaction with phonons is calculated taking into account the configurational interaction. The theory of the electron and hole quasistationary states is developed for the opened spherical and cylindrical nanosystems.
