Essay

The dissertation deals with the problem of improving the efficacy of treating patients with osteoarthrosis and rheumatoid arthritis by means of using systemic enzymotherapy. A possibility and hygh efficacy of including polyenzimatic agents in a double course multimodality treatment of patients afficted with osteoarthrosis (Flogenzym) and long-term systemic enzymotherapy (Wobenzym) in patients, suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, have been substrantiated scientiffically and proved clinically and experimentally. It has been established that Flogenzym and Wobenzym, whose local mechanisms of the antiinflammatory and immunomodulating action were first demonstrated on experimental models of osteoarthrosis and rheumatoid arthritis, can be used for medicinal purposes, since they possess the ability to create an antiinflammatory immunoregulating potentials whose realisations ensuring a stable remission of the disease. The results of the study have been implemented into practical work of the clinical hospitals.
