Theory of the new matrix-finite element method for seismic wave propagation modeling and analysis in the inhomogeneous media is developed. Algorithm stability is investigated solving static problems and dynamic problems of the seismic wave propagation theory. New results are obtained for the stress-strain state modeling of the Earth's crust in Trans-Carpathian region, fore-Carpathian oil and gas deep deposit and engineer object - Chornobyl AES wave field modeling. Theory and algorithm of the inverse dynamic seismology problem solution based on stochastic approach are developed; seismic cross-section models under seismic stations are specified utilizing seismograms registered by the Carpathian seismic network.
