Essay

The biochemical peculiarities of haematopoiesis and mechanisms of regulation of metabolism in the cells of haematopoietic system, a role of hormones (insulin, thyroxine, hydrocortisone) and trace elements (Fe, Se) at early stages of postnatal development of animals are investigated. The answer of cells of the haematopoietic system of the pig at early stages of postnatal development on action of hormones is characterized by decrease in amount of insulin receptors and increase of intensity of intracellular thyroxine - triiodothyronine conversion. Selenium participates in the process of postnatal adaptation in structure of selenium-dependent enzymes.
