Essay

nvestigation object: avicomplex of forest stands. Investigation subject: influence of Investigation object forest stand structure on spatial-typological organization of bird population. Investigation methods: forest valuation, geobotanical, zoogeographical and statistic methods. Scientific novelty: for the first time some problems have been solved as follows: a general conclusion on the history of forming of avicomplex has been drawn; the influence of forest type conditions and also horizontal and vertical structure of forests of different ages on the main indices of bird population has been ascertained. The complex approach to attracting birds, managing and protecting their population under the conditions of wood industry has been worked out.
