The object of investigation is the wind waves and ships. The subject of the investigation is nonlinear hydrodynamics of waves and loads, nonlinear dynamical ship response under the waves action. The methods of the investigations - asymptotical technique and numerical methods. Scientific news: further development of the existing and elaboration new analytical and numerical methods for nonlinear investigation of the hydrodynamics of wind waves, wave loads and ship response - transient motion and whipping in a real seaway. Sphere of use are oceanology, offshore structures, shipbuilding. The results were realized in scientific projets at USMTU, Meritime engineering bureau, Krylov Research institute, Ukrainian state shipbuilding research center.
