Object - ankylosing spondylitis, aim - to improve diagnostics methods and develop an effective system of the complex orthopedic prophylaxis of deformation development at the early stage and renovation of muscular-skeletal system at the late stage of the disease, which will improve the treatment results and patients' health state; method - clinical, rontgenologic, computer tomography, ultrasound tomography, ultrasound densitometry, computer tomographic, serologic, and immunological; novelty - developed new diagnostics and monitoring criteria for ankylosing spondylitis, methods of prophylaxis and deformation of muscular-skeletal system treatment, developed algorithm of patients' having ankylosing spondylitis treatment; results - patents, innovations applied in orthopedic-traumatology departments; branch - orthopedy and traumatology.
