Essay

The movement of wings in ideal incopressible fluid flow is investigated. The methodology includes two procedures a) calculation of nonlinear unsteady flow around wings of arbitrary forms; b) definition of geometric and kinematic wing and flow parameters which optimize preset movement perfomances. The optimization is conducted using numerical methods.
