. The dissertation investigates and analyses the Japan's Asian-Pacific policy in the context of mutual relations with the United States of America in the post-war period. М.П. The evolution of Japan's policy in Asian-Pacific region under the influence of international political doctrine of the USA in 1950-1990 s is traced on the basis of critical re-examination of existing scientific scholar-ship, developing new conceptual, theoretical, scientific and methodological approaches, analysis of the earlier little-known facts, involving the available now primary sources. The process of the creation of San-Francisco's order of international relations, the development of American-Japanese cooperation on the Far East in the "cold war" period and after it is also considered. The author's conception of the dependence of Japan's international policy from the USA in the given period is grounded, the conclusion as for the US role, place and approaches in relations with Japan to the key problems of Asian-Pacific region (APR) in postbipolar epoch is argued.
