Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the problem of creating universal systems of automation designing for complex engineering constructions and structures. It suggests a new approach for organizing CAD in machine-building and construction, which lies in developing a new object-oriented model of a complex mechanical system, represented in a free combination of incorporated mechanical objects and ties between them. To formalize the developed model the author suggests a problem-oriented language FORTU-3. There has been developed a universal CAD FORTU-FEM on the basis of FEM, comprising three application subsystems: pre-processor, processor and post-processor. There are suggested a number of samples of complex mechanical processes analysis with the help of FORTU-FEM. The validity of obtained results is proved by theoretical and experimental research together with implementation results.
