Object of investigation - edaphic and phytocenotic factors which determine level of agrarian phytocenosis productivity on reclaimed lands.Subject of investigation - man-created edaphotops and agrarian phy-tocenosis as a blocks of agrarian ecosystems on reclaimed lands in Steppe zone of the Ukraine.Methods used in research: field, laboratory-field and pot experiments with observations and measurements; laboratory-analytics, computa-tion-comparative, math-statistical.Scientific novelty: for the first time specified edaphic and phytocenotic factors, which are determining sustainability and high productivity agrarian ecosystems on reclaimed lands; provided a further development of the studies about bio-ecological role and trends of the geochemical, agrochemical and agrophysical processes taken place during long-term agricultural usage in transformed edaphotops of the Steppe zone of the Ukraine; for the first time was developed the principles of managing of dominants changing in complex perennial agrophytocenosys relatively to dynamics of artificial edaphotops properties under biological usage; proved the necessity of existing technology of mine land reclamation improvement by the increasing of the stabilization period of longevity of the leveled mining overburden and the incorporation to existing reclamation practices of stabilization-phitomeliorative stage; for the first time was proposed structure functional parameters of rational models of the "technozems" used for agricultural reclamation of iron-ore sludge-catchment basins; the most adaptable to properties of "lithozems" species were specified, they usage in legume-grasses agrophytocenosys guaranteed long-term productivity and intensive influence on edaphotops; basics elements of the perennial legume-grasses agrophytocenosys cropping technologies was developed to be used on the reclaimed lands created without topsoiling; relationship of crops productivity from artificial edaphotops parameters was determined for iron-ore sludge-catchment basins.Main results of the research were applied in industry on area, which exceeds 4000 hectares.Field of studying - agriculture
