Essay

The object of the study are low-dimensional electron systems over liquid helium. Methods of research are variational approach to find energies of discret states of electrons and of localization parameters of electron polaron, method of kinetic equation to calculate electron mobility, method of hydrodynamic equation to find dispersion of surface waves in liquid, method of response functions to find plasma dispersion. The energies of ground and first excited states of surface electrons are found, it is proved that complete control regime, in mobility along helium surface, is realized in the systems under consideration, the mobility is calculated in quasi-one-dimensional conducting channels over helium and over stratified solution of helium isotopes. The dispersion laws of longitudinal and transversal plasma waves are found in electron systems over helium. The energy and mobility are calculated of asymetric electron polaron over helium. The connection is established between electron conductivity and measuring current.
