Essay

The author offers a psychological approach to the analysis of personality-state relations. Four basic psychological paradigms of these relations are proposed: subject-subject, object-subject, subject-object and object-object ones. They are incarnated in semantic exchange between the personality and the state, which is regulated, firstly, by the image of the state (by the result of a person's social perception of the state), and, secondly, - by the concept of personality. The image of the state is a complex entity, that can take place both in individual psyche and in a mass one. The concept of personality is contained in the axiological dimention of the state.
