Objects: one- and twocomponent liquids. Aim: theoretical description of non-hydrodynamic collective excitations in liquids and their manifestations on spectral functions. Methods: approach of generalized collective modes and method of molecular dynamics. Results: Generalized dynamical models were proposed and studied, which describe kinetic relaxation processes and propagating ехсitations like heat waves, optical modes and charge waves. Application: theory of liquids.
