Essay

The work contains the concept of Gravitation-Resonance Exotectonogenesis (GRE), the basis for which is formulated in five postulates: the principles of symmetry, of inter-planetary resonance, of tectonogenesis, of binarity, and of planetary resonance. According to the GRE concept, the multi-frequency recurrence of geosystem activation is a consequence of their evolution in the environment of astronomical 'disturbances', most of which are pre-computed for any time interval in the past and in the future. This allows the GRE concept a prospect to create fundamentally new methods of study and forecasting of behaviours of any geosystems whose evolution and functioning are mainly affected by multi-frequency cyclic variations of state parameters. Based on the GRE concept, two regional models are developed: 1) the model of glacial-eustatic and neotectonic evolutions of the NW Black Sea Coast in the Pleistocene and 2) the model of (outer-)space-dependent dynamics of the stress-strain state of strata in Odessa. Keywords: geosystems, tectonogenesis, astenosphere, disjunctive, astronomical factors of geological evolution, the Pleistocene, sea-level, neotectonics, the NW (northwest) Black Sea shelf, Odessa, subsoil waters.
