Essay

In this dissertation we present the results of a theoretical reconstruction of scientific and philosophical-religious systems of theoretical comprehension and practical transformation of the world. We have found that the primary sources of the concept of "generally acceptable understanding," which predominates in the classical science and holds that the value orientations, foundations, and cognitive principles of the New Time have existed "always and everywhere," go back to the "methods and boundaries" of the Alexandria school of hermeneutics and that the paradigms of the postnonclassical science are close to those of the Pergamum and Antiochian schools of hernemeutics. A theoretical reconstruction of the philosophical-religious "world systems" carried out in the context of paradigms of the classical, nonclassical, and postnonclassical science has enabled us to perceive a high degree of chronological correspondence of the religious and scientific models to the sociocultural process over the past 5 thousand years and to the astronomical, geological, and climatic processes over the last 15 - 18 thousand years.
