Essay

The object: 3D electric fields in heterogeneous mediums with borders, which may change in time. The purpose of the work is development of the final volumes method for numerical calculation of 3D quasistationary electric fields in dielectric and weakly conductive mediums with inclusions of complex configuration, which may change in time. The methods of study are theory of electromagnetic field, theoretical electrical engineering, mathematical physics, as well as numerical methods of final volumes, integral equations, and equivalent charges. Theoretical and practical results and novelty consist in the development of the method of the final volumes for numerical calculation of 3D quasistationary electric fields in the mediums with heterogeneous inclusions of complex spatial configuration. The methods of numerical calculation of the electrical fields parameters in the means of protection from their action, polymeric high-voltage insulation, human’s body have been developed. The object and degree of application: results have been applied in the National technical university "KPI" at determination of the parameters of protection systems from electric field action. Efficiency of application: increase of the reliability of protection systems from electric fields. The sphere of the application: objects of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
