Essay

In the thesis a new area of retrial queueing systems with non-exponential orbit time is developed. A generalized stochastic model of retrial queueing systems is carried out and mathematical method for the investigation of system stability and ergodicity is proposed. Stability and ergodicity conditions of typical retrial queueing systems witj different service disciplines and general assumptions concerning the input flow, the service time and the orbit time are developed. Analysis of retrial queueing systems behaviour in a light-traffic mode is carried out. Simulation procedures for typical retrial queueing systems are developed.
