Essay

Object - structurally functional organization of soil algae communities of forest biogeocenosises of true Ukrainian steppes. The aims are to study of ecological features of soil algae communities of forest biogeocenosises of true Ukrainian steppes and to determine their place in biogeocenotical processes and diagnostic tags for determine of genesis of soils under forest biogeocenoses. Methods are ecological-biogeocenological, soil-algalogical, cultural, optical microscopy, quantitative method of soil algas analysis, method of the analysis of structurally functional organization of algae groups, floristical, physico-chemical analysis of soils, variative statistics. The thesis was devoted to the integrated ecological estimation of soil algae communities of natural, homogeneous, and recultivating forest ecosystems of various landscapes of true Ukrainian steppes. Some 288 algae species from 6 divisions were identifies among investigated algae groups. The essences of algae groups from various forest soils together with characteristics of phytoedaphon of true steppe forests were revealed by comparative analysis. The test indicative system that combines specific features of algae groups with soil genesis and corresponding forest phytocenosises was performed based on obtained results. The indicator algae spectra for the soil hydrological regime, salinification, light stand structure, and type of timber-stand were determined. The indices of abundance, biomass, productivity, time of generation and biomass regeneration of algae were calculated. Spheres of use are ecological expertise, monitoring, training courses.
