Essay

The processes of creation of localized electron and hole states were investigated in the wide group of oxide materials (PbWO4, BaTiO3, SrTiO3, PZT, KTaO3) by EPR and thermally stimulated luminescence methods and their influence on physical properties was clarified. The local structure and the origin of polar states of chemically disordered relaxor ferroelectrics PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 and PbSc1/2Nb1/2O3 was studied. Dynamic disorder was revealed and studied in the paraelectric phase of BaTiO3 and SrTiO3.
