Essay

The object of study: physical basis of high-temperature superplasticity effect operation. The aim: the determination of legitimacies and physical basis of high-temperature superplasticity effect operation. The methods of the investigations: mechanical tests; metallographical investigations; electron microscopy, structural x-ray analysis and energy-dispersion microanalysis; thermal analysis. Results, novelty: It is found out that the effect of high-temperature superplasticity is realized by alloys with matrix structure. The reference feature is that the matrix element makes the eutectic type diagram of state with the present includings or with the intermediate intermetalic phases. The alloys manifest the effect superplasticity when they are in nonequilibrium state, in conditions, when the phase transitions occur. It results in appearance of the metastable liquid phase in their structure. One of main reasons of the liquid phase generation is probably the effect of contact melting. Field of implementation: solid sate physics.
