Essay

Scientific and technical problem of current importance has been solved in the dissertation on the basis of gas-dynamical throttling methods - improvement of accuracy of analysis and synthesis of multi-component gas mixtures in wide range of component concentrations. The special achievement of the work is that concept of equality of gas-dynamical resistances of throttles for a single and for different gases has been introduced. This enabled new methods and instrumentation for mixtures synthesis of high quality to be developed. The developed synthesizers on throttles of equal and multiple resistances (conductivities) provide: certification of synthesizers without using standard test devices of gas analysis; possibility of high accuracy control of component concentrations; calibration of gas-analyzing equipment (in particular chromatographs) according to the norms of metrology.
