Essay

In the thesis the mathematic models for designing of energy-saving heating sources (inductors, inductor-system, heat and electro-magnetic screens (ITEE) and inductor-magnetic wire), taking into account their thermal, electro-physical, power, mechanical and geometric parameters using the energy-saving surfacing regime, basing on the methods of technical electrodynamics and theory of thermal conductivity, have been developed for the first time. Using them engineering methods of calculation of heating systems to realize a new direction in the technology of induction surfacing of thin steel discs, were developed. Basing on the theoretical and experimental investigation carried out, technology and equipment for simultaneous surfacing of thin steel disks over the whole working surface using heating sources constructions (inductors, ITEE systems and inductor-magnetic wire), as well as energy-saving regime of surfacing, have been developed.
